Despite inclement weather, over 500 high school students and counselors attended the event focused on skilled trades. Record rainfalls could not keep area high school students from focusing on future careers. Over 500 attendees at the 4th Annual Try-A-Trade event at the Regional Education and Training Center at Satsop experienced real world work demonstrations
Hi fellow supporter of Veterans’ employment - On behalf of SHRM Olympia, we have a premier event showcasing the benefits of the employment of veterans. The lead presenter will be Major Robin Baker of the Army Career and Alumni Program of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, the largest military base on the West Coast.
The RETC is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization dedicated to the improvement of the Workforce in the Pacific Mountain Region and beyond.
We work with private industry, educational institutions, government agencies, labor partners, and other community organizations to provide training opportunities at our Satsop Campus and through online learning opportunities.
